Lugh was a Celtic god who belonged to a supernatural race known as the Tuatha Dé Danann. His name means 'light/brightness', and he was the god of justice, was a cunning warrior, and contradictorily considered to be trickster or mischief god. Lugh was also the leader of the 'fairy cavalcade', and might have been inspiration for the infamous Norse god Loki.
